Happy Birthday!

I have had the BEST birthday ever. My friend Courtney came down from Montana to see Alabama and West Tennessee for our 26th birthdays - possibly the best joint birthday since our pinata party... (see how cute we were getting ready to hit Beale Street in Memphis...I'll post pictures from our road trip soon.)

Friday my friend Dave took me to the same sushi and sake place Celeste and I hit up after Keith Urban last July. It's so good... I think it might rival Peter's Sushi... and then Dave and I went to the circus at the Sommet Center. The elephants were fantastic and it was such a fun way to spend the evening! I haven't been to see the Ringling Brothers since I was really little.

Saturday night Em and I had planned on having a birthday evening. When I got to her apartment, she'd made the CUTEST individual cakes... chocolate with peanut butter ganache and more chocolate drizzled over the top. Yum... We grabbed some Greek in Green Hills... and then Em insisted we head down the street for a "surprise". Earlier in the day Dave had made appointments to treat Emily and me to manicures and pedicures before we went downtown. It was such an awesome birthday treat for us to get "princessed" before our hummingbird waters :) It's been a really great weekend...

...Now the reality of school's set in and I've got to get back to homework and hitting the ground running for the upcoming weeks.
